EngineSafe – Radiator Adaptor Kit.

The Radiator Adaptor Kit is used for installing the low coolant and coolant temperature sensor in the top radiator hose by cutting out a small 17mm section. This adaptor fits all hose sizes with a 30-35mm ID(Inside Diameter), or with the included rubber sleeves it can used for hose sizes of 36-42mm ID.

Important: When the cooling system is cold, remove the top radiator hose and confirm the hose ID size is between 30-42mm, otherwise this kit will not be suitable for use.

Simply cut out a 17mm section of hose in an unobscured area, preferably in a straight section of hose at the highest point.
Place the two hose clamp over the remaining sections of hose. Refit the hoses back onto the Adaptor, using the rubber sleeves if required.
Ensure the coolant sensor is positioned upright and is within the 90 degree range indicated.
Tighten both hose clamps, and refill radiator coolant to correct level.
Start engine and check for leaks, re tighten if required..
Recheck for leaks after vehicle has been running as per manufacturers specifications.
